All the top New York modeling agencies agree that this is one of the most sought after nights on the fashion calendar and this year was no exception, seeing all of the top models in the business leaving us speechless with their overwhelming style and beauty.
First up was the 44 year-old legend that is British supermodel Naomi Campbell, dressed head-to-toe in a beautifully regal one-sleeve gown, topped off with a diamond-adorned choker. Well, she is the queen of fashion, after all. Naomi will have been feeling particularly excited as the next few weeks will see her acclaimed charity catwalk show Fashion for Relief take place here in NYC and then make its way over to London to open their Fashion Week on February 19th.
Next up, to take our breath away, was the unbelievably beauty of Karlie Kloss, whom we cannot tell you how much we love at the moment. Karlie’s career is certainly gaining more and more momentum every day, having recently sene her walk on the Victoria’s Secret catwalk in London and also the announcement of her starring in two major campaigns: one for Kate Spade NY in which she features alongside legendary designer Iris Apfel (who is 93 years old, I might add!) and one for Joe Fresh. Karlie’s outfit was even more stunning that her repertoire itself with a thigh-high split black gown straight of the 2015 Thierry Mugler catwalk. This girl is the one to watch, have no doubt about it.
Best friends Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin were also on hand to make us gasp with envy at their red and burgundy jaw-dropping gowns, along with Canadian-born Coco Rocha who will seen be expecting her first child with husband James Conran in a few months’ time.
Other models on the red carpet included everyone’s favorite German supermodel Heidi Klum (dressed in a beautifully embellished mint mini dress), Shanina Shayk, Toni Garrn, and Jessica Stam. Not to mention celebrities such as Anna Wintour, Whoopi Goldberg, Ivanka Trump, Brooke Shields and Rosario Dawson. Basically there are way too many to list but you get the picture – this event was teaming with style and signifies the beginning of what’s to come over the next few days.
